Membership

The Hospitalité Committee raises funds in order to carry out certain functions such as promoting the message of Lourdes in the Archdiocese, providing financial assistance to helpers and sick pilgrims, and purchasing equipment for the Pilgrimage.

One of the ways that funds are raised is through subscription income.  This involves paying a yearly subscription (currently £5) in order to become a member of the Hospitalité.  Members are also required to abide by the aims of the Hospitalité constitution, which are:

1. To encourage and foster devotion to Lour Lady of Lourdes

​

2. To encourage and foster involvement and interest in the Archdiocesan (and other) pilgrimages

​

3. To encourage and foster care of the spiritual and material needs of the sick in the Archdiocese.

 

In return, members receive newsletters and are eligible to influence the direction of the Committee by coming to the AGM, proposing motions, and voting.

We would encourage as many people as possible to become members in order to help us to continue the work that we do.
