Testimonies Some testimonies from helpers "The first time I went to Lourdes I did not know what to expect - but that was part of the excitement. Now I'm hooked and I go every year. It is not easy to explain what it is about Lourdes but there is definitely something special going on there" "For me, Lourdes was an amazing experience. I can remember standing back and being in awe of what was going on. We had just returned from a particularly moving Mass of healing and now, pilgrims - sick and able-bodied alike - were sitting around having a fantastic sing-song. There was a real sense of community and I couldn't help thinking that this must be what heaven is like" "Lourdes reminded me of why I went into nursing" "As a young person, I was nervous about going as I didn't really know anyone. By the end of the first day I had forgotten all about my anxieties as I quickly was welcomed by the other young people. I had a great time."
